The Best Product You'll Ever Own- By Little Caitlynn

Hi Brun Lovers!

If you ask anyone what my favourite product at Brun is, all my co workers will probably laugh because I’ll be fully ready to go off on a tangent of how OBSESSED I am with the Whiffcraft Rose + Jasmine Floral Water. I would say its my best kept beauty secret, but its not a secret at all. I never shut up about it. It can easily be overlooked in our boutique but don’t fret, I’m here to tell you about this locally made product straight from yyj!

What I first noticed about the floral water spray was the delicious light rose smell. I’m not typically a fan of floral fragranced things, but the beauty of the floral water is that its not SCENTED. Its quite literally distilled rose water and jasmine essential oils!! Best smell ever, its like you’re being transported to floral gardens with every spritz.

I was originally introduced to the floral spray as a refreshing facial mist throughout the day. I loved it for that at first but then I expanded my uses for it and now I have a bottle in my bathroom cabinet, gym bag, and makeup bag. Obsessed? Obsessed. (I wasn’t joking).

My first favourite use is every morning and night in my skincare routine. Jade was the one that told me that roses hold 1000 times their weight in water, that’s why they’re known for being so hydrating. When I was in esthetics school, I learned that applying serums to lightly damp skin increases their absorption. The floral spray is a perfect star in this step! I simply cleanse my skin, dry off with a towel, and then spray my face with my floral spray and immediately apply my serums. The floral spray is especially important in my daytime skin care routine because the serum I apply in the morning is a few drops of a hyaluronic acid serum. Hyaluronic acid is known for also being EXTREMELY hydrating, its job is to draw moisture in. The only problem is that it often can be misused. If there’s no moisture to draw IN, then it could be drawing moisture OUT of your skin. We don’t want that.

My second favourite use is as a makeup setting mist. I’ve always been a big fan of setting spray after finishing applying a face of makeup. Before the floral spray, I was a die-hard “Fix +” gal from MAC. After applying all the makeup steps the face can look a bit... chalky? Powdery? Not cute. So, a setting spray at the end to finish it all off really helps mend everything together. In my opinion, it creates such a smooth and beautiful finish, everything is amazingly blended and so natural looking. My endless ramblings on of the floral spray have gotten quite a few of my friends addicted and it makes me so happy! Its hard to explain but it just makes your makeup look PERFECT!

Clients compliment my skin all the time and I honestly feel a large credit goes to the Whiffcraft floral spray. Hydrated skin is happy skin and I’m here for it!!!!
