Top reasons to own a Turkish Tofino Towel

If you’re like me you love the look of the Turkish Tofino Towels but you think “do I really need one?” and the answer is YES. Let me tell you all the reasons I LOVE my Turkish Tofino Towel.

Reason number ONE.

My FAVORITE reason for getting a Turkish Tofino towel is because it is super compact! If you like to go on adventures like I do you know that a regular towel takes up the bulk of your backpack. This also goes for moms taking their family to the beach, lake or pool, or just anyone going anywhere with a towel in general. Towels take up SO much space in your bag. One thing I like to do on summer weekends is zip over to a little beach island with Max on a Sea Doo which means TWO towels and not much space. We can bring one backpack over for the day and that includes snacks, drinks, sunscreen and anything else we want to use for that day. Before buying a Turkish Tofino Towel we basically had to cut down on our drinks and snacks intake as well as any games or toys for the day to be able to accommodate two towels in a backpack which is a huge bummer. But now we can bring SO much more with all the extra space!

Reason number two.

The second reason I love my Turkish Tofino Towel is because it dries really fast. Hop out of the lake and dry off, lay your towel out in the sun and 10 minutes later it’s dry. You KNOW those terry cloth towels are NOT going to be dry for the rest of the day unless you don’t touch them for a few hours in 30 degree weather. I love having a dry towel every time I hop out of the water.

Reason number three.

They can be multipurpose. They can be used as a scarf, shawl, towel, wrap, tablecloth, couch throw and so much more. We have had people tell us of how nice they are to travel with because they take them on the plane as a scarf, use them as a blanket on the flight, toss them around themselves as a shawl, and as I previously stated they fold up really small in bags. I also got a tip from a client that they work well as hot yoga towels so I tried it out for myself and she is right! I often get comments in my hot yoga classes about my Turkish towel!

Reason number four.

They’re super CUTE! Yeah you can get terry cloth/standard towels with cute patterns and what not on them but I find they tend to look old quickly. Not only are Turkish Towels super trendy right now but they don’t look old and weird for a long time. I can’t give you an estimate but I use my towel for everything and it still looks really fresh and new and I’ve had it for over 3 years.

Reason number five.

You already know that they’re compact which is great, but they’re quite large when you lay them out. For me I could basically use a face cloth as a beach towel but I know not everyone is as short as I am. I got my brother a Turkish towel for Christmas and he is over 6 feet tall (I know, we are blood related) and he fits on the towel nicely. So when you lay your towel out on the beach you don’t have your feet hanging off like a lot of standard terry cloth towels.

It’s one of my best, most used purchases I’ve made at Brun. It’s lovely to grab one for yourself but it also is an awesome gift idea. I’ve purchased several for friends and family as it’s one of those things you don’t realize you need, but when you have it you can’t believe you’ve lived without it. So do yourself a favor and pick up your next favorite towel, we have so many different colors and patterns for you to choose the right one for you!
